Job Title: Project Manager for Structured Cabling & Data Centre Infrastructure Projects
Location: Across London and South East
Salary: 40,000 - 65,000 per year

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Job Purpose:
Due to ongoing growth, our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of structured cabling and infrastructure solutions. This role includes managing a range of project types, from small-scale work to large campus projects. Successful applicants will work closely with clients to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions and manage complex project streams while meeting client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and motivate the project delivery team to maximize team potential.

Bid Activity & Business Planning
- Participate in bid activity as requested.
- Prepare and maintain accurate business plans and budgets, enhancing profitability.

Project Delivery
- Manage project completion aligned with quality standards, timelines, and cost targets.
- Build and maintain client relationships to optimize future opportunities.

Financial Management
- Manage project financials, including invoicing, labor and material costs, and profitability.
- Provide cost vs. budget reports, monitor expenses, and improve project financial outcomes.

Documentation & Reporting
- Complete and update project documentation, ensuring all necessary records are maintained.
- Provide required reports, including KPIs, forecasts, and warranty documentation.

Staff Management
- Ensure project staff are skilled, motivated, and comply with company standards.
- Oversee subcontracted resources and monitor performance.
Person Specification:
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent client-facing skills, with a focus on customer service and presentation.
- Extensive knowledge of structured cabling and data center infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project, Teams).
- Awareness of structured cabling standards and CDM 2015.
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, CCTV, AV, and IP networking.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., CIDA, RCDD, CDCDP, PRINCE2).
