Head of Housing Needs

Park Avenue has partnered with a Local Authority that's looking for an interim Head of Housing Needs to lead and reshape their Housing Needs Service. They're tackling huge challenges, from Temporary Accommodation pressures to balancing quality with budget constraints, and they need someone who can bring a strategic, financially savvy approach!

In this role, you'll steer the direction of the Housing Needs Service, ensuring value for money across all accommodation functions, from allocations to tenancy management and resettlement. You'll be key in reducing the number of households in Temporary Accommodation, creating efficiencies, and ensuring every household gets the support they need in compliant, well-maintained accommodation.

This is a chance to drive real change in housing services, working alongside borough leaders and county-wide groups to modernise and improve performance.
