Due to further expansion within the British market, they have the need to recruit an additional design engineer. Key Skills · Qualified Mechanical Engineer – HNC or Degree · Experience of 3D CAD – SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM · Machinery design Knowledge The Role Looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer, with experience designing from initial concept, through to completed design. There will also be an element of re-engineering existing designs to meet customer demand. On a day to day basis you will; · Liaise with the sales and project design team to identify their requirements.. · Cover the concept, specification, tender and development of new product lines. · Create technical reports to summarise stages, · Use both 3D and 2D CAD systems to design and visualise product lines. · Communicate effectively with stakeholders internally and externally · Plan effectively to ensure projects deadlines are met · The role will require travel abroad 2/3 times per year If you are interested in this role, please send a copy of your current CV using the details provided, interviews will be held locally and the company is looking to recruit this role as soon as possible.
