The Role: Finance Director

The Salary: Up to £120k pa plus bonus

The Hours: 48 Hours Per Week

A bit about the role and expectations:


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Director to join our executive team. The Financial Director will play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of our company, ensuring fiscal health, driving financial strategy, and supporting our ambitious growth plans. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality industry, strong financial acumen, and the ability to foster relationships with investors and stakeholders.


Key points of expectations.

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis efforts, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the executive team, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, providing regular updates and insights into the company’s financial performance and strategic direction.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and investors, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and systems to ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Optimise financial operations and processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee risk management, including insurance, compliance, and internal audit functions.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the financial acumen of the team and support career development.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Director or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the hospitality or customer focused industries
  • Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a track record of driving financial performance and growth.
  • Experience in managing investor relations and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
