Sliding Head Machinist

A Sliding Head Machinist is required to join a manufacturing company based in Wolverhampton, supplying various clients with high performance bolts and fasteners. As a sliding head machinist, you will be responsible for the setting and operating of Citizen multi-axis sliding head lathes, supplying companies in the MOD and Oil & Gas industries, amongst others. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established engineering firm on a temp-to-perm basis. To be considered, you should have experience working within a similar machining role. The duties of this Sliding Head Machinist role include; Setting and operating Citizen multi-axis sliding head lathes Working from engineering drawings Loading and unloading the machine Producing bolts, nuts and specialist fasteners Any other duties as and when requiredThis role will be working permanent days, 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
