Caretaker

Hales Group are urgently seeking a Caretaker for our client based in Lowestoft. The role will be to support with the security and maintenance of the site and to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.

The role of Caretaker will include;

• To arrange, identify and prioritise maintenance, caretaking and cleaning requirements.
• Ensure that action is taken to rectify any problems that are identified by staff.
• To be responsible for the overall appearance of the school site, including buildings and surrounding areas.
• Ensure all buildings maintenance equipment is kept in a safe, well-maintained and working condition.
• Ensure all necessary records are accessible and kept up to date.

To be considered for the role of Caretaker you will need;

• General experience of working in building industry, or similar, strong DIY skills
• Effective communicator with staff, customers, partners, contractors, agency/external organisations and other colleagues.
• Understanding of Health & Safety
• DBS check will be completed

HOURS: 10am-2pm Monday to Friday
PAY: £11.44+ per hour
LOCATION: Lowestoft
DURATION: Temporary for up to 8 weeks initially
