We are recruiting for a hugely successful manufacturer within the building products market looking to recruit a sales professional to cover the South West, South Wales and West Midlands area.
This role will be managing a network of national and independent builders merchants on an established patch with a respected brand.
You will be tasked with servicing the accounts to the highest standard focusing on cross-selling / upselling, promotional activities, trade days and customer product training.
The company offer a range of award-winning products to trade stockists and sell via features and benefits including quality, service, innovation and durability.
Full training is given as well as support from an internal technical team and career development opportunities.
Ideally candidates will be based in or around the Cheltenham, Bristol, Gloucester, Swindon or Cardiff areas but applicants can live anywhere in the South West, South Wales or West Midlands.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Day-to-day management of trade counter accounts
- Implementing an agreed account development plan with each trade account brand
- Delivering outstanding sales results through proactive branch activity and progressive relationship building
- Responsible for own journey planning and managing own diary
- Producing sales and activity reports in line with company goals
You will be proactive and have bags of enthusiasm and self-motivation with either construction field sales experience selling to merchants, showrooms, stockists, DIY outlets or distributors or be working in a builders merchant looking to move into field sales.
On offer is a salary of up to £38,000 plus bonus, car, pension, healthcare and 25 days plus bank holidays.
