Details Title:Bar Manager Hours: 40 hours a week (3 evening shift, 2 day shifts)(any hours over 40 hours acrue Time Off In Lieu, and hours include a paid break) Salary: £30,000 The Glitch is a vibrant bar, café, and performance space in Waterloo. By day, we serve good coffee, cheesy toasties, and snacks, making the venue a great place to meet with friends, work in comfort, or relax.By night, we transform into a lively bar with intimate nights of comedy, music, spoken word, and special one-off events. A unique space with plenty of atmosphere thats open and inclusive to all. Were proudly a safe space for the LGBTQIA community, with many of our events led by members of this community. The Glitch is run by VAULT Creative Arts. We are a registered charity, striving to build safe spaces for under-represented voices, and to help people fill their lives with creativity! Were looking for an experienced, dynamic and friendly Bar Manager to lead the Glitchs team on shift, floor-manage in-house events and hires, and ensure the smooth running of The Glitchs bar operations. Theres lots going on at The Glitch, and youll be taking the lead on our F+B offer, to ensure excellent customer experience and strong financial performance. The Bar Manager will work 3 evenings on the floor, to ensure the smooth running of evening bar and event operations. They will also work two daytimes each week to deliver the more administrative elements of the role, including finance, bookings and rota management.
