Category Manager (Digital and Technology)

Procurement Heads are representing a UK market leading Consumer client, who are currently seeking to appoint an IT Category Manager into their team. This role will work closely within a medium sized team, reporting into the Digital Lead. Our client is currently undergoing a significant transformation to ensure the business continues to thrive within an increasingly competitive environment. We're looking to appoint a confident senior Procurement specialist, with a background and track record for working on complex procurements specifically across Saas (Software as a Service). In this role, you'll manage all procurement for c.£150m spend, handling large scale-negotiations with the likes of Microsoft and Salesforce. Your key accountabilities will include Sourcing and contract management Category strategy development Supplier relationship management Cross-functional collaboration Risk management Essential criteria for the role includes Strong category knowledge across Digital and Technology Good people engagement and influencing skills at all levels in an organisation.
