Health and Safety Advisor
Location: Reading
Salary: circa 40,000 + Benefits
Are you looking for an exciting and varied role within the entertainment industry?
Do you have experience working in a Health and Safety role?
If so, you could be a great fit for a Health and Safety Advisor position within a major organisation in television and film production. The role would be working across their site in Reading and reports to the Head of Operations.
Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- Implementing health and safety policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Reviewing the production of risk assessments and method statements and answering any health and safety related queries
- Undertaking audits and inspections of the site, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on the findings
- Liaising with production clients
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- NEBOSH or equivalent and membership of IOSH (essential)
- NEBOSH Fire is desirable
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally within facilities management, property, building services, media, or a related industry (desirable)
- Excellent communications skills with proven experience engaging a wide range of stakeholders in a corporate environment
