Autism Support Assistant -Manchester Are you the kind of person that would like to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with Autism? If so, Milk Education are recruiting for a full-time Autism Support Worker to work with children aged between 3-12 year old on a full-time term time only basis. Your role would be based in a Special School in Manhester that caters specifically for children with Autism and Communication issues. This is a Monday - Friday role and would require you to work 08.30 - 15.30. We are not currently accepting applications for part time. Could this be the role for you? Join our mission to Make Life Kind in the classroom and beyond… Autism Support Assistant role & responsibilities: * Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons * Helping the pupils regulate * Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive * Assist with personal care Autism Support Assistant Non-negotiables: * Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism in an education or health and social care capacity * Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30 * Comfortable providing personal care * Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher Why choose Milk?
