Business Development Manager Early Years Outdoor Furniture An exciting position has arisen for a dynamic, driven individual with a proven track record within early years outdoor furniture sales or similar. Our client is an upcoming independent Essex based company that provide bespoke nursery furniture to clients across the country. The position is hybrid with two days based in the office in Wickford, Essex, 9am to 5.30pm Our clients ‘aims’ are so integral to the growth of their company, and they are keen for all of their team members to share in their passion for education! * Create lifelong motivated learners. * Share our passion for outdoor education. * Help early year professionals and parents to save time on lesson and play planning. * Create a community of support and professional development in Early Years. * Enrich children’s mental health with outdoor learning helping children and adults alike build lasting outdoor memories. Job Description * Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships or new products and services * Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities * Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs * Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients * Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients * Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends * Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them * Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning * Managing and training a business development team * Collaborating with design and sales teams to ensure that the requirements are met Salary in the region of £45,000 £5,000 Car allowance. 22 days holiday plus bank holidays Excellent commission package
