He enjoys watching TV, going to the park and playing with sensory toys. Simon has Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, communication difficulties and is wheelchair dependent. Your role will be to support Simon throughout the night and get him ready for school in the morning. Youll be required to carry out personal care tasks, assisting with transfers, support in all aspects of care including therapy and to assist him in the local community. Two carers are required for each shift to manage his moving and handling needs and monitor his epilepsy. Daytime shifts will consist of supporting his care, therapy, social, emotional and communication needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and motivated person to join a dedicated home care team and develop existing skills and support this very special young man .
