If you want to contribute to meaningful work and be part of an organisation that truly believes when you win, we all win, and when you fail, we all learn, then we’re eager to hear from you.Role Overview:Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Software community to develop cutting edge embedded software in Combat Air Electronic Warfare domainJob Responsibilities:Development of a large scale, critical electronic system with Modern C++ (C++11 and/or C++14 and/or C++ 17) Develop embedded software, using RTOSs such as VxWorks or embedded LinuxDeploy software to multi-core or distributed hardware platformsWork alongside firmware and hardware engineers to develop working embedded solutionsWork to airborne software design standard RTCA 178C, DAL C to DAL B and coding standards such as MISRA C/C++Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:Full software lifecycle including: Requirements Management, Design, Implementation, Test and IntegrationModern C++ (11 and/or 14 and/or 17) and UMLAzure DevOpsWorking and delivering software using agile techniques such as Scrum, and tooling such as Jira / Confluence / Bitbucket / GitlabScripting skillsOOD (Object Oriented Design) techniquesExperience of RTCA 178C.
