Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical design of products through all development phases.
- Design and analyse electronics packaging, including thermal, vibration, and stress dynamics.
- Utilize CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and FEA tools (Ansys preferred) for detailed design and simulations.
- Manage thermal management design, precision machining, and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques.
- Conduct shock and vibration simulations and analyses.
- Present engineering design reviews to customers and the executive team.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum of 9 years of industry experience in electronics packaging design and analysis.
- Expertise in aerospace and space industry design, development, and qualification.
- Proficiency in working with electronics assemblies and PCBAs.
- Experience with CNC manufacturing and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
