The SME produces deep high-level content, engages with the industry and acts as an ambassador for the Fastmarkets brand. A pivotal role at the heart of Fastmarkets editorial, this is a highly collaborative leadership position without direct line management responsibilities.Principal accountabilitiesIdentifies and produces high-level content, including insightful market reporting, in-depth focus pieces and interviews, to drive market engagement and visibility in the battery raw materials/energy transition marketsHelps drive presence and reputation in the biofuels and feedstock markets in which Fastmarkets aims to expandIdentifies prices to launch and promote, including determining the specifications, methodology and data submission poolWorks with the broader business to plan engagement and helps lead the biofuels and feedstock team to engage with market participants and exchanges, leveraging our insight to deliver commodities expertise and knowledge to our customersProduces, coordinates and edits a range of strategic content in a joined-up approach across markets and geographies for maximum impactGuides and mentors reporters and gives strategic and functional direction to the team.Assesses and approves prices for certain strategic markets as required, and helps to ensure all prices produced by reporters meet Fastmarkets’ and its regulators’ rigorous standardsAligns strategic content with marketing, and across customer interfaces: editorial, events, client presentations and meetingsBurnishes our reputation for market-leading expertise and insight by serving as a brand ambassador at Fastmarkets’ and other events, attracting high-profile speakers, presenting at events and in meetings, and moderating panels and webinars.Raises our profile in social media platform to showcase our expertise and build interestKey interfacesPartners with the Editorial Director and Managing Regional Editors to define and plan priorities for strategic content and customer engagement in a specific market groupEngages with reporters and Editorial Operations to guide and support a joined-up approach to high-impact strategic contentCollaborates with Events team to grow delegate list and create compelling agendas, maximising the reach and impact of content-driven eventsAligns content approach with strategic goals of the Marketing team, ensuring consistency of message and strength of impactWorks with product and strategy team to align and showcase the value of our content on the customer dashboard, driving adoption and engagementEngages with research to produce content that is aligned with internal forecasting, enhancing its relevance and valuePartners with Editorial Operations team to guide the production of collateral that aligns seamlessly with our marketing strategy for maximum efficiency and impactWe recruit talented, dynamic people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, all united by a belief in our mission to provide the world’s leading and most trusted price reporting, events, and intelligence service for the markets we serve.
