Fire Stopper

A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire stoppers to join their team. You will be working on various social housing projects, carrying out new installations and remediation works to fire resistant materials. The works will be based around Manchester with mileage covered at 0.35p per mile, must have own car or van and be willing to carry materials in it. The successful candidate will have: Own car or Van DBS Certificate dated within the last 24 months (or willing to obtain one) At least three years’ fire stopping experience NVQ level 2 passive fire protection Valid CSCS card Experience with batt and mastic, fire barrier and compound Fire curtain experience preferred Experience working using tracing apps to record works completed Knowledge of 3rd party accreditation Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling and GDPR training (this can be provided) Roles and responsibilities Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work Liaise with customers and members of the general public What’s on offer?
