Senior Manager, HR Operations

We are delighted to be partnering with an exciting Gene Therapy BioTech business who are looking for an experienced HR leader to manage a team of 4 people.The successful candidate will cover a broad remit across HR activities including both hands-on & project linked activities, with line management of two direct reports, ‘HR Business Partner and HR Manager. You will provide regular senior level updates to the ‘UK MD’ ensuring HR activities are aligned with the overall company ethos and budgetary expectations.Duties will cover contributing to monthly payroll activities as well as benefits administration, leading on complex employee relations cases, oversight of quarterly metrics, generating regular internal employee communications, recruitment and onboarding activities, sustaining our site wide performance managememt cycle, as well as the implementation of new HR policies & procedures as relevant. Experience:University business-linked degree with strong experience in a manager level HR role(s), with some experience supporting SVP/VP level executives.Proven experience of working within a Manufacturing environment, Pharma or Biotech or Med DevicesCIPD accreditation would be an advantage or a post-graduate qualification in HR.Strong knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and general knowledge from a EU perspective.Strong experience as a people manager, influencer, opinion leader and decision maker.Proven experience managing UK payroll activitiesSound knowledge and understanding of digital HR tools and software, preferably ADP. Good understanding of working in a highly regulated sector within a strong SOP environment
