Join Our Team as a Training and Development Manager – Wind Division (UK) Are you passionate about driving change and empowering professionals in the renewable energy sector? About the Role Alimak Group UK - Wind Division is looking for a dynamic and experienced Training and Development Manager to lead our training strategy across the UK. Based at our Rushden Head Office, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping and delivering cutting-edge training solutions for our clients and internal teams, ensuring we remain leaders in the wind energy industry. The expansion of our GWO (Global Wind Organisation) training is a vital part of our broader training strategy, and your role will be essential in driving its success. You'll be at the forefront, helping shape the future of our GWO offerings. This is a full-time, permanent role with regular travel across the UK, where you'll engage with a range of stakeholders and industry leaders, including GWO and SafetyOn, to deliver top-tier training content that meets the needs of the fast-evolving wind energy market. What You’ll Do: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive and deliver our UK training strategy for the Wind Division. Develop and implement training programs that align with the latest industry standards, ensuring our workforce and clients stay ahead of the curve. Represent Wind Division UK at key industry forums and working groups, staying on top of the latest training delivery methods. Conduct market research and analyse trends to identify new business opportunities and enhance our service offerings. Manage training logistics, including instructor assignments, certification issuance, and quality assurance of all training programs. Support the continuous growth of GWO training provision and contribute to the success of our wind energy initiatives. What We’re Looking For: A self-starter with previous experience in training and development, ideally within the wind energy or renewable energy sectors and with GWO training experience. The ability to design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective training programs, particularly in technical and safety-related fields. NEBOSH General qualified or a willingness to achieve this certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with internal and external stakeholders. An individual comfortable with heights, as this role may involve some hands-on training in wind turbine environments. A passion for the renewable energy industry and a drive to support its growth.
