Always Flourishing are working closely with an excellent mixed secondary school in the Staines/Egham area. The school are seeking a well organised and efficient PA to the Head of School/ Admin Team Leader, to start either immediately or from November 2024. The position is full time for 52 weeks of the year. The salary offered is between £42,050 to £48,333 per annum (USTS 9), plus benefits. In this role, you will be responsible for providing confidential administrative and secretarial services to the Head of School and the Senior Leadership Team. You will maintain a welcoming and appropriate impression as the potential first point of contact to the school. You will complete administrative tasks with precision, while navigating inquiries and situations with professionalism and friendliness., including diary management, marketing support, compliance tasks, communications handling, IT support, administration, and more. Key Responsibilities: * To provide confidential administrative and secretarial services to the Head of School and the Senior Leadership Team * To maintain a welcoming and appropriate impression as a potential first point of contact to the school * To provide efficient and professional support to staff and visitors through email, telephone and face-to[1]face contact. * To arrange School events * To use the school’s systems and bespoke systems to carry out duties, including Office, Outlook and SIMS * To perform all aspects of the school’s general administration as directed by your Line Manager * To contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people in full compliance with area Child Protection procedures * To obtain and maintain an up to date First Aid certificate to enable you to support the school’s provision of first-response aid as required * To work collaboratively with the Trust’s central team in delivering the Trust’s vision * To provide effective line management to the office team * To be responsible for the schools HR administration whilst implementing and following the Trust HR procedures and protocols The ideal candidate will have: * Experience of working in a school or similar environment * GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths * IT literate * Excellent interpersonal skills * Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. * A flexible and adaptable approach to work, thriving in a fast-paced environment. * The ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant administrative software and school systems. * A positive attitude, strong initiative, and a commitment to teamwork.
