Site Manager

Construction Site Manager / Foreman Experienced Site Manager to work on a large residential construction project. Conversion of commercial building to residential self-contained flats – Cut and Carve and Vertical extension. MUST have proven track record of at least 10 years previous experience in the successful delivery of similar projects within the construction industry: Experience with Steel Frame construction would be an advantage. Undertake the day to day management of building site activities of the designated project. We will expect you to organise and project manage both the works and supply chain, ensuring you maintain the right working environment to avoid time delays and disruption between trades. Must have the ability to read and accurately interpret programmes, drawings and technical specifications, whilst motivating and conveying details to the sub teams. Need to be proactive and flexible, able to quickly adapt and think on your feet to resolve complicated issues, you will confidently lead and motivate the workforce providing clear direction, responding to queries to ensure consistent delivery of a quality product. Establish absolute demand for the highest quality of workmanship standards on site and ensuring the timely delivery of a high specification build in accordance with the project specifications and requirements. Strong focus on Health and Safety Controls which are upheld to the highest of standards at all times. * Maintenance Health & Safety procedures/initiatives/Site Inductions * Adherence to Company quality standards including Management of defects, compliance with Specification/Materials/Workmanship/Schedules * Coordination/Leadership of the site team of Sub-Contractors & other site operatives * To be responsible for the opening and closing of the site facilities * Management of discipline, behaviour, site facilities, toilets, compound area etc. * Fill out and submit workers time sheets & Preparation of site progress reports * Material movement and co-ordination * Responsible for accurate & timely completion of site-based documentation * Any other reasonable management request Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience: * SMSTS and all relevant certificates * Relevant H&S courses * CSCS Black and SMSTS card Must have evidence of the right to work in the UK
