The position of Class 1 Casual Driver involves:
- Consistent work available for temperature-controlled runs from Haverfordwest to a single point of delivery every Saturday and Sunday.
- Out and back work, no nights out, although this could be possible if requested.
- Loading and unloading of refrigerated vehicle, ensuring load security.
- Using a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.
- Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers expectations.
- Attend regular training.
Personal Attributes for Class 1 Casual Driver:
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Experience of refrigerated trailers is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
