My client is a leading organisation within the Racking, Mezzanine & Shelving sectors. They are currently in the process of recruiting a Project Sales Manager responsible for covering a national remit. This role entails collaborating closely with the wider Sales team to enhance the company's sales efforts. The selected individual will have the opportunity to join a skilled professional team specialising in Pallet Racking, Mezzanine Floor & Shelving.
Objective:
The primary objective of this position is to identify and cultivate sales prospects, establishing a robust sales pipeline within the assigned geographical area. The approach involves using consultative selling techniques to foster customer relationships and maximise profitable sales for the company.
Ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate for the Project Sales Manager role should possess a background in sales within the storage industry, although comprehensive sales training will be provided. Personal motivation, drive, diligence, and forward-thinking are qualities sought in the candidate. This role presents an excellent prospect to become part of a growing and well-established enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Project Sales Manager will:
- Identify and nurture new business opportunities by systematically mapping the territory and locating potential sales prospects.
- Collaborate closely with the National Sales Manager to conduct client visits, both independently and jointly as per instruction.
- Develop a strategic contact plan for all businesses, categorising customers into groups A, B, and C. Arrange sales calls in alignment with the strategy.
- Cultivate strong relationships with both new and existing clients to generate sales leads.
- Employ negotiation skills across various levels to achieve mutually satisfactory outcomes.
- Capitalise on chances to provide additional value during client interactions and quotations.
- Deliver effective face-to-face presentations using a structured sales approach. This includes initial visits, site surveys, producing reports/quotations, and making formal presentations.
- Build expertise in technical specifications and product knowledge, along with an understanding of the storage and material handling industry. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills while communicating with both customers and colleagues.
- Ensure timely completion of all administrative tasks and reports within the specified deadlines.
Package:
