My client is actively recruiting for someone to join them on a permanent basis in London, working as their new Compliance Officer.As their new Compliance Officer, your role is to work closely with the COO, MLRO, Risk & Compliance Manager and General Counsel - assisting with KYC to ensure this firm complies with all regulations relating to Risk & Compliance. You will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:- Opening new clients and matters via Intapp- Updating KYC for existing clients- Conducting KYC checks and risk analysis on a regular basis- Researching high-risk instructions and preparing reports- Dealing with queries from the wider teams at the firm- Supporting the Risk & Compliance Manager on day-to-day projects and tasks- Keeping an accurate and up-to-date record of all contact with Partners and Fee-Earners+ much more.To be considered for this Compliance Officer opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:- Have a minimum of TWO YEARS experience within Risk & Compliance at an international law firm- Be degree educated (ideally LLB/GDL)- Have a good understanding of AML requirements for non-UK based clients - Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office packagesIf you are looking for a new position and you have the above experience, get in touch as soon as possible for a confidential discussion!
