Offshore Medic

Carbon60 will soon require 6x Offshore Medics to join our client's team on a contract basis supporting Offshore Wind Farms in the UK. Role: Offshore Medic Location: Offshore UK Sector: Offshore Wind Rotation: 2/2 (Possibly 4/4) Start Date: October 2024 Duration: Up to 6-Months + Possible Extension Rates: £520 Inside IR35 via Umbrella Clearance: BPSS Responsibilities: To review declared medicines and medical conditions to confirm if a person is suitable to board Provide treatments for everyday health concerns To provide medical treatment (with the support of 24hr tele medicine onshore support) for all persons injured at work Monitor the stock of medical equipment on board and re-order against an minimum stock/ equipment list Transfer to offshore assets to provide stabilisation treatment and support the recovery of injured persons who are unable to return to the mother vessel without medical treatment first. Deliver first aid familiarisation training - this is to prevent skill fade and therefore the medic does not need to be a registered trainer.
