The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Uniformed Services Lecturer to join our dynamic Sport & Uniformed Services department. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment, ensuring our students receive the best possible education and support. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and assess students in practical settings, including the college gym, studio, sports field, and more. Lead by example, promoting high standards of teaching and learning. Develop and implement improvement strategies to help students reach their full potential. Engage in recruitment and marketing activities, student interviews, and community liaison. Participate in curriculum development and the creation of high-quality learning materials. Provide exceptional customer service to students and stakeholders. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.What We Offer: A competitive salary and benefits package. Flexible working arrangements, including occasional evenings and weekends.About You: Holds an appropriate teaching qualification or substantial industry experience (or working towards a teaching qualification). Relevant subject expertise and a degree or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum Level 2 Maths and English. At least 5 years of industry experience in a related field (e.g., Army, Navy, RAF, Fire, Police, Criminology). Excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills. This role is permanent, part time (4 days a week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - 29 hours). Actual Salary: £24,776 - £32,300 per annum Interviews will take place on 12th November 2024.
