Interv_l are supporting one of the UK's biggest rental companies as they look to expand their sales team for the Bus and Coach department. Already working with a number of the UK's largest bus & coach operators they are looking for someone with in depth knowledge of the industry.


As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by securing bus and coach rental agreements with national bus and coach operators. You will focus on establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers within the industry, including those in both the public and private sectors. Your expertise in PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) solutions will be instrumental in tailoring proposals that meet the specific needs of our clients.


What you'll be doing

  • Identify and target potential clients within the national bus and coach operator market.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including procurement managers, fleet managers, and operations directors.
  • Present and negotiate bus and coach rental agreements, ensuring alignment with the client's operational requirements and budgets.
  • Leverage your knowledge of PCV vehicles to provide tailored solutions that enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of rental agreements, from initial proposal to contract signing.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the company.


What you'll need!

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the bus and coach industry.
  • Strong understanding of PCV vehicles and their applications within public and private sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid UK driving license is essential.
