Maintenance Painter/Decorator Your new company Our client is a reputable contractor committed to providing high-quality housing and maintenance services to council properties. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance painter/decorator to join our team on a temporary basis. Your new role Your responsibilities will centre around maintaining and upgrading council properties across Edinburgh and the Lothians. These will include; Surface preparation Painting and finishing Repair work Touch-ups (upgrades) Conducting routine inspections of paintworks and decorationWhat you'll need to succeed We are looking for a painter/decorator whose background who is comfortable in a maintenance environment, working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience in residential as well as commercial properties.Main requirements: Proven experience as a maintenance painter/decorator Relevant painting/decorating qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or 3 Painting) Valid driving licenceYour work schedule will be a standard Monday to Friday, 9-5, with pay being allocated every Friday.
