Vehicle Prepper Location: Thurleigh, Bedfordshire Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 06:00-16:30 Pay Rate: £16 p/h Employment Type: Ongoing work We are seeking experienced Vehicle Preppers to join our client’s team in Thurleigh. This role is ideal for individuals who strive to deliver high-quality results. You will be working in a brand-new, purpose-built automotive bodyshop, preparing vehicles to the highest standards for painting. The Role: * You will be sanding down vehicle panels using different grades of sandpaper and a dual action sander. * You will be completing all final preparation work on the vehicles. * Repairing damaged panels on vehicles using the correct methods and materials. * Working on a range of new and used vehicles. * You will be working within a large, modern, well equipped automotive bodyshop as part of a team. What kind of person we are looking for? * You will need previous experience of working within an automotive bodyshop as a vehicle prepper and understand vehicle repair methods. * Be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of all aspects of preparing vehicles ready for paint. * You will need to work efficiently but to a high standard. * Hold a full, category B driving license, with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
