6 month contract opportunity within the public sectorHybrid working – Somerset base £500 - 550 per day Inside IR35 Safety Manager Our public sector client is looking for a Safety Manager to join them in developing, operation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management Plan (SMP). This involves managing the policy and procedures for the safety management of all Products, Systems and Services (PSS) that have the potential to cause direct or indirect harm to individuals, the property or the environment. Skills and Experience Formal training or qualifications in Safety ManagementPrevious Safety Management experience/exposure Previous experience developing Safety CasesPrevious experience leading Safety Panels / CommitteeKey Responsibilities Lead the implementation of the Safety Management System throughout the whole business.Develop Safety Cases for the organisation’s Products, Systems and Services.Support the ongoing development and review of the organisation’s safety performance. This will include developing effective measures at the system, process, product, audit and corporate performance levels, that drive the right behaviours and create the conditions for improved safety performance.
