Job Advert: Commercial Manager Location: Rainham, Essex Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + Package (including company car/car allowance) Client: Tier 1 Contractor Are you an experienced Commercial Manager looking for a new opportunity with a leading Tier 1 contractor? Our client is seeking a dynamic professional to oversee contracts within the Social Housing and Retro-fit housing sectors across the South of England. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee the commercial aspects of multiple contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. * Collaborate with project teams to optimise financial performance and deliver projects on time and within budget. * Lead negotiations and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports, providing insights to senior management. * Identify risks and develop strategies for mitigation throughout the project lifecycle. * Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards across all projects. Requirements: * Proven experience in a commercial management role, preferably within the construction or housing sectors. * Strong understanding of contract law and procurement processes. * Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. * Relevant qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or related fields.
