Test Manager

Harvey Nash are delighted to have partnered with an award winning consultancy, partnering with leading software vendors and industry experts across various sectors to unlock value and insight from data. They are looking for a Test Manager to join them!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Functional and Non-Functional test strategies and plans.
• Lead and manage testing efforts across complex, large-scale programs, ensuring delivery on time and within specifications.
• Utilise test management tools and oversee cross-team dependencies.
• Manage stakeholders effectively within large, matrix organizations.
• Lead testing for BI/Data Warehouse/Analytics/ETL/Data Migration projects.
• Mentor and motivate testing teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring successful project delivery.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of testing experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or management role.
• Expertise in test management tools (licensed or open source).
• Strong technical background in testing or quality assurance for large, complex programs.
• Proven ability in risk and issue management, client-facing delivery, and project estimation.
• Line management and mentoring experience.

Preferred:

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing and advanced qualifications in test management.
• Experience in Agile environments (TDD, ATDD, BDD) and full lifecycle testing.
• Good SQL skills and thought leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with various development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps).
• Financial services experience.
• Experience with both automation and manual testing.
