Specializing in Market Making, Crypto Algorithmic Trading, and Institutional Investments, their aim is to revolutionize digital asset management through innovation, superior knowledge, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.The Opportunity:We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Risk leader with expertise in Market and Financial Risk Management to be the spearhead in managing and reporting enterprise-wide risks, conducting third-party due diligence reviews and supporting GRC operations. This is a pivotal role for a rapidly scaling and dynamic organisation where you will be critical in fortifying risk management capabilities and ensuring compliance with new and existing regulatory bodies.Core areas will include:Capital MarketsCrypto TradingOTCMarket MakingDigital Asset offeringKey Responsibilities for the Risk Manager, Market and Financial Risk – Crypto / Digital Asset Management:Risk ManagementConduct risk assessments and create risk profiles for various processes, systems, and projects.Oversee the third-party due diligence process and actively engage in the assessment activities.Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and suggest improvements as needed.Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with regulatory compliance and information security.Regulatory ComplianceDirectly support license application with FCA and MiCAAssist in preparing for and responding to regulatory audits and reviews.Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements and ensure that the company’s risk managementpractices comply with applicable laws and regulations.Collaborate with legal, compliance, and information security teams to address regulatory changes and their impact on the organization.Information Security SupportAssist in the implementation and monitoring of security controls and procedures to protect sensitiveinformation.Support the development and maintenance of information security policies, standards, and procedures.Work with the Information Security team and CISO to assess and manage risks related to information security, including data breaches, cyber threats, and system vulnerabilities.Reporting and DocumentationPrepare risk assessment reports and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors.Document risk management processes, findings, and recommendations.Maintain comprehensive records of risk management activities and compliance efforts.Experience required:Expertise in market and financial risk management, ideally within capital markets with knowledge of the Crypto / Digital Asset sector.Strong understanding of information security governance, risk assessments and industry recognised frameworks including NIST and ISO27001.Proven knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as FCA, AMF, BMA, MICA, DORA, GDPR and security governance.Ability to engage across all layers of a business both domestically and internationally.Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently, manage priorities and apply project management methodology.To apply for the Risk Manager, Market and Financial Risk – Crypto / Digital Asset Management please apply now with your latest CV.
