We are seeking an experienced social media marketing and content creation individual who is creative, innovative with a passion for retail brands. Demonstrates strong communication skills, thinks like a consumer with the ability to translate this in the social media environment that engages people and drive conversions through exciting humorous thoughtful and stylish social media strategies. Role Overview:The Social Media manager will develop and deliver the social media strategy along with the wider team. They will be responsible for our presence across social media and to manage social-style marketing programs for our home appliances and beauty brands. Social media activities include promoting our websites and products on social platforms, creating fun and engaging social content to drive traffic, delivering key marketing messages, increasing our social media following & engagement, promoting our events, or engaging with our social media audience. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the social media strategy with support from the Ecommerce and retail teams. • Create compelling content including imagery and video for social audiences • Identify relevant influencers and content creators to work with and liaise with them to create the content we need • Manage content calendar and day-to-day presence on social • Post the content you or collaborators create on social media channels media activities include promoting our websites and products on social platforms, creating fun and engaging social content to drive traffic, delivering key marketing messages, increasing our social media following & engagement, promoting our events, or engaging with our social media audience. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the social media strategy with support from the Ecommerce and retail teams. • Create compelling content including imagery and video for social audiences • Identify relevant influencers and content creators to work with and liaise with them to create the content we need • Manage content calendar and day-to-day presence on social • Post the content you or collaborators create on social media channels Technical Skills required: • Knowledge of all social media platforms including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat • Experience in using social media software such as Sprout Social would be preferable • Must have experience with designing, creating and executing engaging social media content for e-commerce/retail brands. Ideally 2+ years. • Needs experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or similar • Must be able to make video content that can be used across our social platforms • Experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Super organised: you will need to be able to manage your time effectively to make sure you reach all your goals • Keen to learn you’ll need to be sharp-minded and quick on the uptake, trends and news move fast in digital • Execute a variety of elements for social media campaigns including content seeding, moderating user-generated content and any other activities as required • Ability to create, manage and report on paid-for media across all social platforms • Measure and report on the efficiency of social campaigns in addition to real-time monitoring of social profiles • Demonstrate creative thinking in creating conversation opportunities around real-time events • Establish networks of brand advocates through blogger research or influencer marketing, qualification and collaborative projects • Monitor trends in social media broadly and within the brand community specifically, to ensure the brand remains adaptive; keep managers up to speed with developments
