Secondary Design Engineer

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Secondary Design Engineer on a 1 year contract, based in Staffordshire. Role Summary * The candidate will be the lead Secondary Engineer on a HVDC project providing support for the project team by producing or subcontracting the activities below. * Participate in Safety reviews * Produce SLD & KLD * Verify P&C Schemes from suppliers * Interface with internal & external P&C suppliers * Verify Structure Designs * Collaborate in project team * Verify back office designs Skills * Knowledge of National Grid specification * Degree in Electrical Engineering * Experience in HV Substation design * Knowledge of Protection Relays Our Company Rubicon Consulting is a Talent management consultancy which helps you to optimise business performance and competitive advantage by choosing the right people first time
