Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Multi-Skilled/Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. This role involves working across a variety of projects and industries, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, minimizing downtime, and enhancing overall productivity. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical systems and equipment Install, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure continuous and safe operations Inspect and diagnose faults on equipment to identify any potential issues Dismantle and reassemble machinery for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance Work closely with the electrical and operations teams to coordinate repairs and upgrades Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and company protocols Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications Assist in training and mentoring junior fitters and apprentices Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Multi-Skilled Technician in an industrial setting Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams and blueprints Familiarity with maintenance and repair of heavy industrial equipment Ability to work independently and within a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Relevant mechanical or engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, etc.) Excellent communication skills A commitment to health and safety practices Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Ongoing training and development opportunities A supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for career progression Company pension and healthcare schemes How to Apply: If you are a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for a rewarding and challenging opportunity with a reputable industrial services provider, we would love to hear from you!
