KS2 Primary Teacher Rochdale £31,650 - £43,606 Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are holding a Qualified Teacher Status. Contract dates Jan 2025 - July 2025 on a full-time basis. Vision for Education are looking to recruit a full time Year 5 class teacher to join the Key Stage 2 team at a primary school rated ‘good’ in the Whitworth area of Rochdale. The school welcome all Early Career Teachers and experienced Teachers who are enthusiastic and highly motivated. The role and school This exciting opportunity is perfect for Early Career Teachers and experienced Teachers in a Year 5 class of 30 pupils with low level abilities. The children in the class are currently at least one or two years behind their year group. There are three children with SEN, two of which have EHCP’s in place and one child is currently undergoing assessments to be put on one. As there are children with SEN needs and low-level abilities in the classroom, this role requires a teacher who is hardworking, caring and adaptable to their teaching approach/style. The successful primary teacher will also require a strong knowledge of phonics, although it is not essential as training can be provided by the school. Requirements To be considered for the Primary Teacher, you will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Will be experienced in a long-term KS2 classroom within a primary school. Adapt teaching and lessons to meet the needs of all pupils. Be able to build positive relationships with the staff and pupils.
