Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are proud to be part of a world-class team, currently leading the way in delivering critical infrastructure improvements at the iconic Port of Dover.We are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join us on this prestigious project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects, contributing to the expansion and modernisation of a key international gateway. Duties- Initially this position will oversee the Early Contractor involvement phase of the project- Prepare and analyse project budgets, forecasts, and reports.- Lead procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.- Manage contractual risks, providing advice to the project team.- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure financial objectives are met.- Prepare and negotiate valuations, final accounts, and variations.- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. Person Specification- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.- Chartered status with RICS (or working towards).- Extensive experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within large civil engineering or infrastructure projects.- Tendering and ECI experience- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management best practices.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.- Proficiency in relevant software packages.
