Clinical Laboratory Director THE COMPANY Join a pioneering biotech company at the forefront of liquid biopsy technology. The company we are partnering with are a world-leading company commercialising a patent-protected platform that captures rare circulating tumour cells (CTCs) from blood in a minimally invasive way for downstream analysis. Their unique system is the first FDA-cleared medical device to harvest intact circulating cancer cells, offering significant improvements in clinical and health outcomes. JOB ROLE In this pivotal position, you will lead and expand the clinical laboratory team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality management standards. The 20% growth plans will give you the opportunity to grow and have greater strategic input, progressing your career at an accelerated rate. You will manage customer interactions professionally, running multiple client projects and ensuring delivery of data reports. Your role will involve close collaboration with Heads of R&D, Manufacturing, and Regulatory to ensure the seamless transfer and validation of new assays into the clinical laboratory. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will contribute to the company’s strategic direction and execution. ABOUT YOU You will excel in this role if you have an MD/PhD in a relevant subject, with significant experience managing a clinical laboratory and overseeing high complexity testing. Certification by an HHS-approved board is essential.
