Paraplanner (Client facing)Sevenoaks, Kent C £45000 - £50000 + Bonus/BenefitsThe OpportunitySuperb opportunity to join a firm of successful Chartered Planners who are entering their second decade of development having experienced both year on year growth and the development of a network of introducers who have helped them build on their AUM, currently AUM per client is c £900k. The environment you will work in will be one that every member has a voice in the practice and regular team meetings will appreciate your input, and full support is given for personal growth/development. You will be diploma qualified, but every assistance will be given for you to achieve Chartered status as quicky as possible.The RoleAs the Paraplanner, duties will include (but not be limited to):Conducting research based on meeting clients financial needs and objectivesUnderstanding investment portfolio analysisCompiling investment/pension/protection illustrations and documentationCreating and preparing technical suitability reportsEnsuring FCA regulations and compliance are metSupporting with ad hoc projects and tasks where requiredReviewing and understanding existing scheme information from providers.Using research tools / systems to complete detailed analysis – FE AnalyticsVoyant cash flow modellingComplying with the relevant compliance, TCF, T&C and, financial crime (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud and corruption) procedures of the firm at all timesAbout youExperience in a senior paraplanning or technical role gained within an advisory practiceQualified to a minimum of diploma standard, with a desire to continue towards Chartered statusOverall knowledge of key areas of financial planning and advice – Pensions (including switching and pension sharing orders), Investments, IHT and Estate planning and personal and business protection.The ability to understand and interpret a cash flow forecast and summarise the key pointsAn understanding of writing styles, grammar, punctuation, avoidance of jargon and an understanding of the audienceThe ability to interpret complex planning into clear and concise reportsAble to understand and apply FCA suitability requirementsCompetent using and presenting with FE Analytics and Voyant softwareExperience of, and being comfortable participating in client facing meetings with advisersIn summaryThis is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, professional Paraplanner looking to join a successful yet growing Chartered IFA practice which will fully support you to achieve chartered status in due course and become a valued member if a highly talented businessIf this is opportunity is of interest, please either call Jim Maddison on 07976 428618 or send a copy of your CV to [email protected]
