Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare sector, is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager (Electrical) to join their team based in Birmingham. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the long-term operation and maintenance of critical hospital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of maintenance services, ensuring compliance with contractual and safety standards.
• Deputize for the Head of Estates when required.
• Oversee planned preventative maintenance and ensure effective scheduling in line with legal and industry requirements.
• Lead negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Monitor the quality of work by internal teams and contractors, ensuring high standards.
• Oversee plant and equipment safety, ensuring adherence to statutory regulations.
• Produce condition surveys, action plans, and ensure timely lifecycle planning.
• Participate in on-call rota and recall-to-work procedures for emergency repairs.

What We re Looking For:

• Proven electrical experience, ideally within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, health & safety, and relevant legislation.
• ONC/BTEC NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline.
• Authorised Person qualified to Health Technical Memoranda (HTM) standards.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
