Head of Product - Cloud

Our international client, an innovative, cloud-first, shared services organisation with world class customers, is seeking a Head of Cloud Products. This crucial role will take them and their customers to the next level of cloud and platform technology. Your initial remit will focus on one of their UK clients in particular and some travel to Oxfordshire will be required. There is also a wider strategic remit in that the work done initially will be applicable to other Group customers both in the UK and internationally. Our client anticipates this person hiring 5-7 staff between the UK and US to 'do' the technical work required according to the developed roadmap.

Key responsibilities Partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop an enterprise cloud transformation roadmap and milestones for key customers. Drive operational excellence within cloud management and reporting. Partner with Engineering teams across software and platform to design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions. Coach and enable teams to accelerate cloud projects, providing guidance and resource planning. Oversight of program management, maintaining timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Advocate for program and product teams, inspiring a shift from project to product mentality.

Required experience Significant (10+) years experience in program management, product development, or delivery. A strong product background, having ideally led product as well as programme management teams for world-class companies, ideally ones that have transitioned to public cloud. An expert in agile and rapid development transformation. Experience developing and delivering programs on the public cloud protecting highly sensitive or regulated data (AWS & Azure ideally) required, including defining key requirements, goals, and success criteria for cloud migration. Hybrid cloud experience a plus. Deep & broad tech background from top-tier tech firms. Ability to develop scalable, resilient, and cost-effective programs that meet performance and security requirements. Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of programs. Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field required

Salary will depend on experience but is likely to be in the £150-200k bracket plus excellent bonus potential (multiple 10%s annually) and compelling benefits. Our client operates a hybrid working environment with some time required on site. Occasional international travel required.
