Production Manager

JOB- Production Manager LOCATION- Ashford TERM- Permanent SALARY- £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (plus benefits) Premier Engineering is currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join our client’s dynamic team in Ashford. Our client operates in the manufacturing sector, producing high-quality products for various industries. They are seeking a highly organized and experienced Production Manager to oversee daily production operations and ensure efficiency across the manufacturing floor. The Production Manager will ideally have the following attributes: Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management (BEng, HND, etc.) Strong knowledge of production management principles and manufacturing processes Excellent leadership and team management skills Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet production targetsThe Production Manager role will involve: Overseeing the day-to-day production operations to ensure efficiency and product quality Managing a team of production staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback Planning and organizing production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery Monitoring production KPIs and implementing process improvements to optimize output Collaborating with other departments such as quality control, maintenance, and supply chain to address production challenges Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and maintaining a safe working environment Managing budgets and resources effectively to achieve production goals Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, including your availability and salary expectations
