In joining this company, you will receive a generous benefit package, and a chance to work with an established global leader in innovation and technology. As a Process Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the qualification, verification, and validation of processes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the Process Engineering team's daily activities.
- Facilitate the professional development of the Process Engineering team members.
- Enable smooth communication between departments
- Drive the success of new product introductions and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the development, validation and verification of new processes for new products.
- Deliver solutions for continuous improvement.
- Oversee the production of supporting documentation for new processes and procedures.
- Work within our Phase Gate structure and own the Design Transfer phase.
- Work with new product development teams to advise on the design for manufacture.
- Oversee the training of manufacturing staff on new processes, such as delicate mechanical, assembly, soldering, board programming and calibration.
- Oversee the design, build and specification of manufacturing jigs, tools and equipment.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of new parts
Skills and Experiences
- Experience leading a team.
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related subject.
- Ability to travel
Desirable
- Electronics assembly and soldering proficiency
- Understanding of CE/EMC compliance principles
- Programming experience
