EJ810: Site Operative
Location: Staines-Upon-Thames
Salary: Circa £30k + Overtime
Overtime: £17.92 per hour Mon fri 4pm-6pm and some Saturdays 6am-12pm
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Yard Operative on behalf of one of our clients.
Working for an industry leader in steel works, within the construction business, this role is ideal for someone with production / manufacturing experience.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday.
Overtime during the week may also be expected from (Apply online only) and some Saturday shifts (Apply online only).
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To operate various equipment / machinery, efficiently and safely producing steel reinforcing to customer s specifications and industry standards.
Equipment and machinery to include:
- Cutting machines.
- Link bending machines.
- Manual bending machines.
- Overhead gantry crane and forklift operation.
- Full adherence to health and safety procedures and to site rules.
Skills and Qualifications:
- You ll be a self-motivated individual who has experience working in a production / manufacturing environment.
- Keen to learn and progress in the business.
- Working effectively within a team, you ll have the knowledge to follow processes, instructions and commit to assigned tasks.
