About the role: We’re seeking an EYFS teacher who’s passionate about fostering a love of learning in young children and committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of your students. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to join a friendly team in a vibrant and diverse community in Harrow. In this part-time EYFS teacher role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum. You’ll nurture and inspire young learners, helping them build a strong foundation in key areas like literacy, numeracy, and social skills. With a hands-on, child-centred approach, you’ll encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence in your students, ensuring that their first steps in education are filled with excitement and success. Application Requirements: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. • Experience working in an EYFS setting is preferred. • A passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in fostering young children’s development. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a commitment to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the EYFS framework. • Create a positive, nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn. • Monitor student progress, providing feedback and adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of each child. • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure all children receive the care and attention they need. • Engage with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and development.
