Client Summary: A leading manufacturer of specialist fabrications for the Aerospace Industry.
Position Summary: Leading a team of up to 40 people through their day-to-day tasks in machining/ fabrication.
Regularly briefing the team about new and current work and giving a structured and though out plan.
Providing constructive feedback.
Reporting on KPIs.
Ensuring the team works safely, correctly and to a high standard on time.
Managing holidays, absences and attendance.
Presenting to Operations Director on the team's progress and needs.
Person Profile/Experience: An ideal candidate will have experience in a hands-on machining or fabrication background - but this is not essential.
Past supervisory/ managerial/ leadership roles with a strong base level understanding of people management.
ILM / CMI Level 3 or equivalent.
IOSH Management course completion.
A background in aerospace is essential.
Manufacturing/ fabrication/ engineering/ machining experience all considered.
