Responsibilities OVERVIEW & SCOPE OF ROLE The Warehouse & Despatch Operator will be predominantly based in the Warehouse & Despatch area. The role will in the main but not solely include; complying with regulatory & Company EHS policies, the receiving and booking in of incoming goods, packing and Despatching of manufactured products, and accurate stock control. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Functions * Ensure that all Health & Safety at work regulations and Company thinkSAFE / EHS policies are complied with at all times. * Ability to issue materials (raw) through D365. * Advise and report accurately to Supply Chain any stock outages and despatch requirements. * Attend and participate in the cell daily GEMBA / SIM meetings and provide updates to relevant colleagues / work areas. * A City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in Warehousing is desirable but not essential. * Trained and licensed to operate a Fork Lift Truck is desirable but not essential. (Training planned for 2025). * Ensure that high standards of 6S are maintained within the Warehouse & Despatch area at all times. This includes the completion of all daily 6S activities and tasks on the associated checklists. * Support Continuous Improvement initiatives across site. * Work in a methodical, organised, timely and SAFE manner at all times. * Work overtime to support the business at times of high workload or to provide absence or holiday cover. * Carryout reasonable tasks as requested by the Production Manager / Shift Supervisor. * Report / raise (C-works) any equipment breakdown to Shift Supervisor / Production Manager.
