You’ll be the lead Maintenance Engineer foran area and be part of a leadership team of 3 (Process Lead,Maintenance Lead and Line Lead). The MaintenanceLead is responsible for overseeing and delivering definedengineering processes within your area. These processes areprimarily designed to reduce machine stoppages and ensure thecorrect level of asset care and maintenance strategy is deployed toeach equipment item. This will be achieved by leading and coachingthe entire area team to deliver true Autonomous Maintenance. Aspart of the leadership team for your area, you’ll review losseswithin the area, develop action plans and deliver sustainedimprovement results. You will be a crucialresource to ensure that the correct level of engineering capabilityis achieved within the team to progress our zero loss journey. Thisrole will also require to you play a key role in the delivery ofyour own improvement initiatives along with larger capital projectsfor your area. You’ll be an excellent coach and motivator, withsignificant, demonstrable experience in this area. Some of your day-to-day/regular activities willinclude: Maintenance Planning andScheduling DMs (Daily Maintenance) for thelinesReview of all breakdowns and deploy theappropriate countermeasure to preventreoccurrence.Oversee the Maintenance Planningfor your areaProvide updates during DDS (DailyDirection Setting meeting) to review breakdowns and Maintenanceplans from the last 24hrsPrepare and lead thescheduling of the maintenance work for the next week during theweekly maintenance meetingWork with otherMaintenance Leads to support the Progressive Maintenance (PM)Pillar by updating key KPI’s and attending Pillarmeetings.Prepare the schedules for monthlymaintenance work as dictated by the annual maintenance plan and aspreviously identified during the monthlymeetingAssist the Autonomous Maintenance (AM)Pillar by building capability within our daily management systems.Examples of this are C.I.L’s (Clean, Inspect, Lubricate), DefectHanling & Centrelines.Developing coachingplans to improve your area team’s capability to deliver the correctlevels of maintenance.
