Job Requirements / Description
Main Responsibilities & Role Specific Duties
Provide leadership to support staff within your services with support from DoS & be main point of contact.
Conduct supervisions & annual appraisals for designated service managers.
Provide care & support in accordance with current best practices, according to P&Ps, agreed standards, legislative requirements, & relevant regulations under the direction of the MD/DoS.
Ensure multidisciplinary teamwork is embedded in your designated services with support from the MD/DoS
Visit services & complete full quarterly audits, produce reports on findings & relay them to the service manager, MD & DoS. Ensuring actions from audits are completed in a timely manner. Carry out full audit checks on Nourish (on-line care System)
Support the service manager to ensure training/competencies for support staff are up to date. Overseeing service managers training & competencies
Complete end of month payroll checks as directed by DoS & produce month end reports for operations manager
Maintain own skills & knowledge at a current level, & undertake such training & development as may, from time-to-time, be required to maintain practices as up to date
This post may be required to be part of Performance Management process for any service managers & deputy managers who are not meeting expected standards of their role.
Be part of the recruitment process for new service managers. To induct & mentor new managers in to the role.
Ensuring the persons supported are at the heart of the care delivery & their wishes & preferences enhance their wellbeing.
Support service managers with the supervision of staff & ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service.
Support service managers to organise & coordinate care delivery in accordance with current best practices, according to policy & procedures, under the direction of the MD/DoS
With support from the MD/DoS the post holder is to work closely with their designated service managers to ensure that the service complies with the Care Quality Commission regulations
Attend team meetings & have input in to service delivery
To attend MDT & outside professional meetings as & when required
To deal with any safeguarding issues as & when required
To be part of any disciplinary proceedings as & when required
